How do I book a trial dance class in Woking?

We offer a three-week trial package for £25. Complete the trial form with your child’s age and the classes they are interested in. We can help you choose if you are unsure. You will then receive class information and access to our virtual portal so you can book the taster sessions that suit.

What happens during the trial?

You will be emailed to confirm dates, times, which studio to use (including a map) and the teacher’s name. The teacher introduces themselves at the start, and your child is paired with an existing pupil who becomes their buddy for the class, so nobody walks in alone.

Question 3

What should my child wear to a taster class?

Accepted Answer

Leggings and a T-shirt are perfect. A leotard and tights are welcome if you already have them. For acro, please bring a gymnastics or yoga mat. If your child is coming to Melody Movement, please bring socks with grips and a favourite teddy. Full uniform details are given if you enrol.

What happens after the taster classes?

We will email to ask whether you would like to continue the trial or fully enrol. Once you enrol you receive an invoice for the term (less the £25 trial payment) and our school handbook. There is a £25 enrolment fee.

Is there parking at LESTA Studios in Knaphill?

Yes. There is plenty of parking immediately outside the studios at Unit 10A & 10B Medway House, Lansbury Estate, Guildford Road, Knaphill, Woking GU21 2EP. A map is provided with your trial confirmation.

Question 6

How much do dance classes in Woking cost?

Fees are billed monthly via GoCardless. Class prices are £25.00pm for 30 minutes, £30.00pm for 45 minutes, £33.00pm for 60 minutes, £40.00pm for 75 minutes and £48.00pm for 90 minutes. A 6-class package is £115.00pm and unlimited classes are £175.00pm. There are 12 weeks per term and 36 weeks per year, billed equally over 12 months.

What if we miss a class?

Classes are paid monthly via GoCardless. There are no refunds for missed classes. Your place is held until one month’s notice is given.

Question 8

How do we leave a class?

Accepted Answer

We need one month’s notice prior to the next payment date on the 28th of the month.

Is there a uniform?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Each class has a uniform available from our suppliers. Full details are given when you enrol. There is also a second-hand uniform Facebook group.
