“By far the most organised, supportive and inclusive school we've experienced. Children are encouraged to reach their full potential, and only entered for exams when they are truly ready to succeed.”
“Two amazing shows, exams passed and some really special friends along the way. The staff are extremely friendly, and they hold high expectations, which is why they achieve great results.”
“Her official review of LESTA is simply: "I love it." She settled in so quickly, and seeing her confidence grow already has been lovely to witness.”

LESTA exists so children believe they can. Our award-winning school opened in 2005 and now teaches from its own purpose-built studios on Guildford Road, Knaphill: Fosse, Fonteyn and Astaire under one roof.

More than twenty years of dance classes in Woking: a school that children grow up in, and that parents trust.

ISTD-trained teachers who are DBS checked, first-aid qualified, and genuinely delighted to see your child walk through the door.

Biennial showcases at the Rhoda McGaw Theatre, with every child in the school invited to take part.

Three purpose-built studios in Knaphill with sprung floors, barres, mirrors, a private entrance and parking on the doorstep.
Leanne and her team are friendly and professional, both in their teaching and also parent communication. Can't recommend enough.

Our principal
ISTD teacher, founder, and the reason the studios exist
Introduced to dance at seven, Leanne followed that passion all the way to ISTD teaching and, in 2005, opened her own school. Sixteen years later she moved LESTA into its own studios in Knaphill, and still loves watching students blossom as people as well as dancers.
Fun fact: Leanne once worked in a letting agency. That administration background still underpins the school's smooth running, from GoCardless billing to parent communication.
