Contemporary dance classes in Woking

Contemporary is an expressive style that combines lyrical, jazz and ballet. It uses emotion and storytelling, which makes it a brilliant class both for dancers starting a little later and for those who have trained for years.

Three-week trial · £25 · LESTA Studios, Knaphill

At LESTA’s Woking studios, contemporary classes build fluidity, floor work, rolls and jumps. Dancers learn to support the body while rolling and falling from standing, and to become more musical in movement.

New routines every few weeks keep the class interesting - a favourite for intermediate and senior dancers in Knaphill who want to perform with feeling as well as technique.
