Simple ballet techniques are introduced inside Melody Bear’s world. Alongside a variety of set exercises, creativity is explored through dances based on fairy stories, with Melody Bear as Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Hansel and Gretel and the Tale of the Turnip.

It is the bridge between preschool play and graded ISTD ballet, modern and tap - so children in Knaphill leave class proud, tired in the best way, and already asking when they can come back. From here, Year 1 dancers step into the wider children’s timetable.
